In the "Klondike" solitaire, 28 cards are drawn from the deck and arranged into 7 columns. In the first column, there is 1 card, in the second, 2, in the third, 3, and so on, with the last card in each column facing down. Open cards can be moved on top of each other, provided that the lower card differs in color and is 1 rank lower than the upper card. Sets of cards arranged in order can be moved together. Empty columns can only be filled with kings or sequences of cards that begin with kings. The remaining cards are stacked in the upper left corner. Clicking on this pile flips the top card and makes it available for movement.
