Всемирный день театра (англ. World Theatre Day) отмечается 27 марта. В этот день поздравляют не только актёров и режиссёров, но и всех сотрудников, включая билетёров и гардеробщиков, поскольку от добросовестного труда каждого зависит тот магический праздник, который мы называем Театр. Именно это имел в виду Константин Станиславский, заявляя, что "Театр начинается с вешалки".
